John Humberstone is a skilled and knowledgeable Quality and Training professional with extensive experience of working with top teams and senior management. He has had a successful career in British Telecom working with managers at a senior level to develop and build management development programmes and continuous improvement strategies as well as team building and training. John has had extensive consultancy and quality techniques training and has delivered training events for internal consultants and facilitators. He has a degree in Mathematics, Statistics & Computing and has also studied with the Open University. John has specialised in working with heads of departments and senior managers to assess current performance and identify actions for improvement. In particular he is a skilled and experienced European Quality Award assessor who has been trained by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) accredited trainers, Bristol Quality Centre. He has assessed a number of written reports and effectively facilitated many self-assessment workshops as well as managing continuous improvement programmes. These have resulted in more focused initiatives including development programmes, customer satisfaction & staff surveys, customer complaints and agenda management for top team meetings. He now works with London Excellence implementing strategies for achieving Business Excellence as well as with the Institute for Independent Business (IIB) where he provides help and advice for small businesses. He is also a successful ISO 9000 consultant and IQA trained ISO 9000 Lead Assessor working with QEC Ltd.
