Professionally he is a member of the Institute of Revenues Rating and rose to head a service responsible for collecting in excess of £20,0000,000 per annum in a large, multi cultural London Authority.

He has been heavily involved in strategic, change and performance management, delivering a portfolio of large, complex projects including:

Chris is completing national research on the use of the EFQM Excellence Model for Best Value for the IdeA culminating in a publication towards the end of March 2001.

He is Chair of the British Quality Foundation’s Local Authorities Group, and a regular contributor to national /international journals and conferences.

He is particularly active in the areas of performance, knowledge management and service excellence.
