   Extraordinary Notice

After careful consideration the committee is of the opinion that the Association is no longer viable due to falling attendance figures at seminars and inability to attract speakers. The committee has therefore resolved to wind up the Association with effect from 31st March, 2007. Should anyone have ideas on how the Association may continue they should
contact us via the website before that date.

The alabc is a 'not for profit' organisation open to Business Consultants who are principally employed in Local Government. Its purpose is to keep members up to date with trends and developments which affect their work, to provide a forum for the exchange of expertise and experience, and to raise the profile of consultancy within the local government sector. Alabc seeks to achieve this primarily through its series of low cost/high quality seminars, and through this web site.

You can view our executive board page for information on its members.

This web site is a valuable, informative and interactive resource for all local authority business consultant issues. We invite you to leave suggestions on future subjects you would you like to see covered in the seminars or speakers you would like to hear. You can also add information of other relevant events you have heard of. If you would like to go onto our mailing list or become a member fill in your details on our registration page.
